If you know me, you know that I am a very goal-oriented person. It runs in my family and we were taught at a young age to have goals and work towards achieving them. One of the goals I have each year is to read a certain number of books. I am trying very hard to read more instead of getting on social media as much. So for my own accountability and also so I can help spread the word on good books, I though it would be a good thing to start writing a brief review of some of my favorite books I am reading.
Most of the books that I read I get for free from my Kindle app on my phone. I find most of them on this wonderful website that I follow. I much prefer to read actual books if I can, because there is something so wonderful about an actual book and not always being on my phone, but unless I can borrow them they aren’t in our monthly budget.
As a mom of two young boys I feel like I don’t have a lot of time to grow in knowledge or expand my horizons on many things, so this is one wonderful way that I can grow as a person and be challenged to be the best follower of Jesus, help mate to my husband and mommy that I can be while not having to leave my house.
Hope you enjoy!
Do you set any reading goals for the year?

If you havent read Kisses from Katie I’d recommend it. I have a copy. Also love Same kind of different as me and The Joy Luck club for a random fiction that is a good read about Chinese mother daughter relationships. I like anything Donald miller as well.
Love the recommendations! Thank you, going to have to check those other books out. And I LOVED Kisses from Katie, what an amazing woman!
